    • Carpenter Ant: Carpenter ants are extremely meticulous in their destruction, leaving a clean, well-maintained hollowed out trail in the wood. Sawdust may be apparent as galleries are cut through wood structures.
    • Termites: These messy eaters leave layers of mud wherever they have been in your CT home. The damaged wood is much more thin or ragged. Mud tubes may indicate the presence of termite highways into your home or between wooden parts of the structure. Eastern subterranean termites are the most common termite encountered in the CT area.
